En entrant dans Parent, nous n` avons eu que le temps de se mettre `a l`abri à l`entrée de l`hotel central et contempler l`incroyable tempête qui s`est abattue sur le village. As soon as we arrived in Parent, we barely had enough time to get off our bikes when a very severe thunder storm struck.
Mon appareil photo était dans mon tankbag; pas de pics de l`orage mini ouragan, de pluie violente et diluvienne, des éclairs (très près), de la grêle etc... No pics of the mini hurricane storm since my camera was in the tankbag with my rainsuit. Very strong winds that almost flipped our bikes to the ground, lightning strikes way to close for comfort, incredible downpour that transformed the street into a river & finally hale half the size of golf balls.
Devant nous, un arbre de bonne dimension casse et tombe sur des échafaudages et une voiture. Across the street from us, a big tree snaped like a twig & went down on 2 story high scafoldings with everything landing on the front end of a car.
